Short Term:

Please help find HUGO!!

Many of you might remember our Hugo. He spent time at the DC shop and well as in Jan and Lori's home.

Poor Hugo fell from his adopter's window at 2032 Belmont and is still missing! He was last seen around the 2000 block of Columbia Road. If you live near this area (ZIP CODE 20009), or know anyone who does, please click here to download the flyer and post wherever you can. Please e-mail the flyer to your friends. We really want Hugo to get back to his home! Please note - his collar has been found, so he currently is not wearing a collar.

If you have friends in the Adams Morgan area please circulate this message.

Metro and Bus Service

Subject: Reduced fare for the Link Shuttle Service

From Councilmember Jim Graham. Dear Friends: I am pleased to report that, at yesterday's Metro Board meeting, my proposal to reduce the fares for the Link Shuttle was passed.  Beginning in February (specific date to be announced) the fare both ways for the shuttle service between Woodley Park/Adams Morgan and U Street/African American Civil War Mem. will be 25 cents.  That's down from $1.10. However if on boarding, a transfer is requested then the fare will be the regular amount.
